<itunes:summary>Hello All,

Today we received the Roland R-05 digital audio recorder. We did a short test recording to test the device and have decided to post it as a sign of what is to come.

Once we get the new microphones, this recorder will be the exclusive recording device used for our shows, either recording from mixer or in a live setting.

Special thanks to Cliff Ravenscraft the Podcast Answer Man for suggesting the equipment we've now invested in.

Enjoy the new site and we look forward to producing more shows in the near future.

God Bless,

Chris, Tanya and Linus</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>Hey All,

This is the first LOF Podcast in a long time. Chris is flying solo again in this episode, but, Tanya will be back soon.

New in this episode is a live video streaming system. This service is provided by the people at livestream.com . Yes there are some ads, but, hey, for free it has some pretty great stuff. If you ever want to see us live, check Chris' twitter feed on Sunday or Monday for a heads up. You can access previously recorded shows and our live stream at http://www.livestream.com/lifeonfire or by clicking on the Live tab on lifeonfire.org .

The rest of the show focuses on being good stewards of the environment that God has given us. The BP oil spill has harmed a lot of our environment but, what can we do in our everyday lives to help the environment around us? It isn't just the oil company hurting the environment, but, the everyday person as well.

Chris also covers why the show has been MIA for so long and what God may or may not be calling Tanya and him to in the future.

That is all for this show, look for many more in the future.

God Bless,
Chris, Tanya and Linus</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>Hi All,

In this episode Chris and Tanya talk about all of the craziness that has been going on the past few weeks. Th new windows have been installed in their home, Chris doesn't know how to put up blinds and Tanya had an awesome birthday party.

In addition to this, there is an ill family member that they have been taking care of. It is a lot of hard work, but, it is what God asks of us, to care for the sick. Please pray for that family member and for Chris and Tanya, that they might have the strength to endure the trials and tribulations that come along with this.

Movie reviews include The Velveteen Rabbit and Monsters Vs. Aliens .

Podcast promos were played for Catholic Pilot and Catholic Foodie .

For those who are curious, the feast day of St. Nicholas is December 6th.

That's all for this week. Again please leave feedback via our interact page, and pray for us as well.

In this episode, we tackle the idea of using the gifts God gave us to benefit the Catholic community. Tanya emphasizes this in some of the volunteer activities we are taking on as a family.

This week, Chris and Tanya talk about Linus's first visit to the Big E fair in Massachusetts. They discuss the food, the fun and the crowds.

Also, Tanya and Chris both do a reflection on love. Tanya discusses love in terms of adoration and charity, while Chris discusses marital love and the challenges it poses.

Lastly, they do a review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and discuss Tanya's tasty Zucchini/Squash Parmesan.

 <itunes:summary>Hello All,

Sorry again for the delay. Long night last night and didn't have enough time to post the show until Chris's last break at work.

On this episode we talk about Trust. Tanya discusses the psychology of trust, as examined by Erik H. Erikson, a big name in infant psychology.

Chris discusses trust in terms of faith. Is it really that God doesn't answer our prayers, or is it that we are praying for the wrong things?

We have some feedback from our friend Allie, and a brief touch on The Case for a Creator.
